One of the famous luxury brand in the world, Rolls-Royce created a new sales record for 108 years of existence. Over the past year, Queen Elizabeth II favorite brand was successfully sold 3575 units or increased 1 percent from the previous year.
This is the third increase in Rolls-Royce - now in the BMW AG - respectively. "Our main target is to make a new record in 2012. I am delighted to announce it and so we could celebrate 100th year with a new sales record," said Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO of RR.
Otvos claimed this achievement is not easy. Because last year a lot of challenges to be faced. Rols-Royce increased sales occurred throughout the region, ranging from the Middle East, up 26 percent, Central Europe 21 percent, Asia Pacific 18 percent, Saudi Arabia 63 percent and Germany 15 percent.
